Ah ha! Now I see. You actually let your supports be long enough for little legs, so that is why you put spacers below where you attached your bottom shelf. It looks like 1/2 inch legs? My go table. Is a bike lift that has the frame of a 1948 Indian chief sitting on it.. it should be a running mashine in about 5 years and about 30k 😆.. hopefully a little sooner as that would put me at 73, not sure I'll ever get to ride it at that rate.. lol..

I'm in the process of planning one of these. The plans look great, the build looks great. But I'm wondering about materials. Rather than use plywood and edge banding for all of this, is there a compelling reason not to use actual lumber for parts like the bed side panels?

Can I soak the rattan overnight in cold water? My carpenter soaked it in cold water for half and hour and installed it on my cabinet door and it isn’t tight at all 😢
